There opening film was in 1997 and was titled ‘the Peacemaker’ which was an action/thriller film. Although they make a wide variety of films, they also have made quite a few horror films, such as ‘the Ring’ series and ‘The Haunting’. It would work well for our film as it is a well known company which makes a wide variety of films, and it’s horror movies have a good reputation so would attract fans to our film.

Due to being around for such a long time they have gained a huge name for themselves which an extremely wide range of films, including horrors franchises such as Paranormal activity & films such as ‘Friday the 13th’ and classics like ‘Psycho’. As it is such a well name it would attract a wide range and has also been known to produce experimental films which could go either way.

Hammer Films is a United Kingdom based production company which has been around for a long time; founded in 1934. Hammer films is much less of an all rounded film company and is more well known for there gothic horror films.
